Memory

Memory is the living library of our experiences — where facts, stories, and lessons are stored so we do not have to start from scratch every day. Intellectual health around memory means understanding how memory actually works (it is reconstructive, not recorded), what supports it (sleep, exercise, stress reduction, active retrieval), and what undermines it (chronic stress, poor sleep, sedentary living, social isolation). Caring for your memory is part of caring for your cognitive health across the lifespan.
